Hi,

Here is the configuration i selected for my i9 12900K PC and listed all the configuration with link. Just need your expertise if am good to go and anything that could even boost with same budget or can change some components in the same price as given.

1. What is the purpose of the computer? What all applications and games are you going to run? (Be exact. Which games? Which applications? Avoid the word 'et cetera.' Vague answers like 'gaming' or 'office work' will not work.)
Ans: 4K & 8K Hard Core Video Editing and Need to reduce time in Exporting the Video, EA Racing game ( NFS, Dirt Rally, Forza Horizon, Pubg )

2. What is your overall budget? If you can extend a bit for a more balanced configuration, then please mention.
Ans: 2,50,000 Maximum.

3. Planning to overclock?
Ans: Yes.

4. Which Operating System are you planning to use?
Ans: Win 11.

5. How much hard drive / solid-state drive space is needed?
Ans: 1TB NVMe M.2 SSD.

6. Do you want to buy a monitor? If yes, please mention the screen size and resolution you prefer. If you already have a monitor and want to reuse it, then do mention the screen size and resolution of the monitor you have.
Ans: No. I have the LG 4K Monitor

7. Which components you DON'T want to buy? i.e. which components you already have and plan on reusing?
Ans: 2.5 Inch SSD Already have plenty with MSI laptop.

8. When are you planning to buy the system?
Ans: Immediately from mdcomputers ro suggest me for any better price online.

9. Have you ever built a desktop before? Or, will this be done by an assembler?
Ans: Long ago i used to have PC, But i can build myself.

10. Where do you live? Are you buying locally? Are you open to buying stuff from online shops if you don't get locally?
Ans: Chennai. I want to buy online mostly but if would prefer local shop if there is a big price difference compared to online only.

PS: I will also use it for Android apps development and used to work heavily with Premiere pro , Photoshop, Lightroom so please keep that in mind too.

Could you wait for a couple of months? Intel 13th gen, ryzen 7000 series, 4000 series GPUs will be available, and it's easy to say that there will be a massive generational uplift over current CPUs and GPUs.

Besides that, there are plenty of unoptimized things in your build-
i9 12900 costs lesser and performs the same.

Pretty weak cabinet chosen. Lancool II is an easy pick.

Forget about overclocking, CPUs squeeze out max performance out of the box, and OCing is just a waste of time, money, and turns your PC into an oven

Overkill cooler. Arctic Freezer 2, Lian Li Galahad or EK's AIO are cheaper alternatives that will easily keep a 240w TDP chip cool.

DDR5 prices are slowly decreasing and still don't have a big perf gain. They'll be ready by next gen, so no point buying it now.

RTX 3060 Ti? Lol you can fit an RX 6800 XT/RTX 3080.

No point in going with 7k fans as well.

that’s a pretty great suggestion, just thinking to wait few more months to see how the cost changes over the time. Thanks again.

Honestly, if you can wait for 2 months, just wait. Ryzen 7000 is launching on 29th Sep & Intel's 13th gen will be in the market by late Oct.

Right now, I feel R9 5950X is the better option for productivity workload because of the huge power draw of 12900K & investment in cooling required.

My bets are on R9 7950X to be the new performance king, but lower-end CPUs will be better from Intel's 13th gen. Let's see what happens.

As mentioned earlier, cooler, cabinet & fans can be optimised in the build.
