purchasing from US

preferred model - Sony Vaio

Processor - pentium M

RAM - 512

drive - combo or dvd writer

hard disk - any size

screen - smaller the better ... 13-15 inch


kindly suggest the models...... can u suggest some reliable sites?


most important query - my friends dad wud be carrying this laptop with him... wud that be a problem with customs on indian airport? i heard one laptop per perpson is allowed these days. is it true? or do we need to pay extra?

dell 700m for around 1000K + some dell 300$ PDA?
