Your file has expired.
Unfortunately your file has expired. A link is valid for 7 days or 25 downloads, whichever occurs first. Once the link expires, the file is automatically deleted and cannot be recovered.

Boss.. u meant u wanted 2 convert any colored object 2 white shades...

One thing i can say 4 sure... it's gonna b tough... only pros may b able 2 provide a great answer, coloring an object white or black has 2 b tough as these 2 r not hues or colors.. just "lightness" @ it's extreme ends... might take sometime figurin out....

Okay I did it... Here are the steps followed... It turned out to be quite easy...

First open the image. And separate the cloth layer into another layer using a lasso tool.
I guess you have done it already. Now you have to see the colour of the cloth.
It should be either Red, Green or Blue. If it's not then press (Ctrl+U)to change the hue of the cloth to any one of these.

Now goto Image ---> Apply Image

Source : Original
Layer : [The cloth layer]
Channel : [The colour of the cloth](That's why I asked it to be either R/G/B)

Blending : Lighten
Opcity : 100
Mask : No

This should convert your image into this...

*img223.echo.cx/img223/6059/first6ki.jpg

Now goto Image ---> Adjustments ---> Desaturate

Then pick up the Clone Stamp Tool (S)

Radius : depends Hardness : 0% (IMPORTANT)
Aligned : No
Opacity/Flow : 100/100

Now (Alt + Click) a white or light area i.e. the place where the cloth is lightest...
Now you basically want to remove all the texture of the cloth.
So hover you brush over the area, where the texture is.
(IMPORTANT : Don't run the brush where you want the shadows!! Even if there is texture present there)

Now you image should look like this...

*img223.echo.cx/img223/4561/second6dr.jpg

Now select the Healing Brush Tool (J)

Settings : The same as Clone Stamp...

Now again alt + click any light portion.
And now you can run your brush everywhere the texture is present.

And finally duplicate the layer and set it's blending mode to "Screen" then click on the duplicated layer
and press Ctrl+E to merge them.

Then Image ---> Adjustments ---> Auto Levels.
Edit ---> Fade Auto Levels ---> 50% , Normal

This should be your final result...

*img223.echo.cx/img223/1354/final5uk.jpg

Increase the birghtness/Contrast as per your choice....

Tell me if that helped
