    Use damaged CDs for recording ?

    I have many cds which were damaged during the burning process due to my faulty cd writer.Is there any way to reuse them for recodring ? Also there is a strange problem with my cd writer.It is able to burn data on rewritable cds but gives burn process failure errors on cd-rs. Please help.
