Android browser & play store problem

I'm using a Sony Ericsson LWW (still running Gingerbread, haven't upgraded to ICS). Problem is, for the past 1-1.5 months I can't open any pages using the default Browser (whereas, Opera works fine) when using 3G. The browser, however, works when connected via Wi-Fi. Same problem with the...

What do you say...Worth the risk ?

What do you say...Worth the risk ?

Thanks :-) In the end it was quite a bit of a tussle between LWW & Nokia 603. Nokia seemed to be either similar or better in every hardware aspect (bigger screen, better resolution, same processor, RAM etc.) but chose LWW solely for android. Hope the extra apps are worth it :-P

!! Guys beware of Ebay scams, sellers faking reputation

Had I bought from that seller and then seen these posts I'd have been worried sick. Having experienced flipkart service (I mean customer service, not just delivery which usually takes more time since I'm in West Bengal) in the past its difficult to switch to anything else. Thats why I decided...

!! Guys beware of Ebay scams, sellers faking reputation

WHAT !!!!!! I was thinking about buying the very same phone from that exact seller !!!! I had also created a thread about it. Anyways, i backed out in the end & ordered it yesterday from Flipkart. Phew !!!

I did skip it :) Ordered LWW from flipkart yesterday. Still a bit worried about battery life, lets see...

What do you say...Worth the risk ?

No no !! Dealer's Warranty means the service will provided by the seller, not Sony (that will be Manufacturer's warranty). Basically, in case of any problem I'll have to send it back to the seller & wait for him/her to return it. Also, it has been mentioned hardware problems are not covered in...

    'Live with Walkman' restarting problem

Ok. I don't really find it appealing either, apart from the bigger screen. What about LWW ? Do u know if the issue's fixed or not ? Could u possibly tell me the manufacturing date & firmware version of ur brother's phone ?

    'Live with Walkman' restarting problem

A few queries: A) The LWW restarting issue- Has it been fixed by Sony yet ? B) Also, is the battery life really too poor compared to others in that range (<13k) ? C) Considering the LWW issues havn't been fixed yet, what would be the next best choice for a 3.2" (minimum) screen and a...

What do you say...Worth the risk ?

Have u bought anything with dealers warranty so far ? Another thing, what about the overheating issue in LWW ? Been reading a lot abt it. Has it been fixed ? (Can't SE make a bug-free phone !!?? :-x)

What do you say...Worth the risk ?

Yes, for the moment I've given up the thought of buying without warranty :) . If I can somehow manage the xtra cash I'll buy the LWW or else, Explorer. Btw, are u sure about the 12.5k ? None of the online stores seem to be selling @ less than 13k.. Also I've seen some posts complaining abt...

What do you say...Worth the risk ?

Well said. Actually, the price difference isn't THAT great (abt 6 %). If only I had the xtra cash !!! The Xperia Mini might be a bit more manageable @ 11.5k and it has about the same specs too but the 'even' smaller 3 inch screen is putting me off (considering the 'overheating' problem is...

What do you say...Worth the risk ?

You couldn't be more right :-P. Infact, the 'warranty' t&c itself states 'only software problems no hardware'. So, useless.. I guess I'm hoping there won't be any problems within a year, its all the same after that isn't it ?? My bigger concern is whether the product shipped will be new...

Do u mean the new batch doesn't have the problem anymore or are u talking abt the 'calibration fix' ?
