i've been experiencing extreme slowdown in accessing data on my HDD (120 Gb SATA )
the screen freezes and takes forever to open the folder, and also ends up "Not Responding" many times....
earlier my D: was on FAT32, i changed it to NTFS, but the problem persists...

transcend 512 MB DDR 400 MHz is 4.7k in chennai....with bill and 3 yrs warranty...i personally feel its a better option against the obscemly priced kingston modules....
kingston 512 MB modules range from 4.9k to 5.4k here
it does make a lot of difference....
the chipsets are all different in these cards....higher end chipsets allow higher core and memory clock speeds (as in frequencies) which is wat matters...higher freqs give u better performance....
infact u might sumtimes find tht cards with lesser RAM( say...

arch, i dloded the sys mech...there indeed are a lot of duplicate files...is it safe to delete all those files...some are XP sp2 files as well....they are exact copies...
nuhting unusual abt tht...all cd players use tht tech...essentially to save the battery...after reading the song for a while it kinda stores the remaining song somehow and the doesnt read the cd anymore ...if u dont skip the songs often, the battery lasts really well...
