I am not sure as how to increase the font size of the contacts but you change the fonts with the help of Go Launcher.

You can download Go Launcher from their portal. Then you can increase the font size.

It was 32k and given SIM is also 32k. Will check again and confirm. Any OS upgrade or any custom ROM installation by self or through third parties means product void of warranty. Though lot of custom roms available better than official update but just want to share the info.
