IGNOU is not actually MCA in correspondence but in distance education mode. Anyways, if you want to do MCA in distance education mode, IGNOU is the best option and it is also AICTE recognized. Don't go for Sikkim Manipal's distance education course...its not AICTE recognized and unless u need...
I think after BCA you must go for MCA and then do some certification in Java / Oracle / Microsoft Technologies to enhance your CV. CCNA + CCNP is entirely a different line and people who want to remain in the core software area do not usually go for Cisco certifications.

However, its not exactly a correspondence course...its distance education. There's a difference between the two. You have to be attached to a study...
What you say is partially true. But things are changing, particularly after the AICTE recognition. Also many IGNOU grads are now highly placed in many companies. Still it will take some time for people in the industry to realize that passing out from IGNOU MCA is not easy and those who have done...
Me too. I'm using Dataone right from its launch and its performance could not have been better. I get almost 1.5 Mbps speed and uninterrupted connection. Their customer service is said to be horrible...but I never required it.
