It is not like i am hellbent on spending 90k . I just meant that i am ready to spend this much amount if need be. Going by all the above posts i think i like the Sony Vaio SVS15 option with the modifications ....it seems much more suited to my needs. Thanks to everyone for your inputs :-)

Let me put it in other words.... High end graphic card is not a requirement. I won't be playing games or working on videos or photos on the laptop.

Yeah...but only Macbook Pro(without retina display) meets the requirement. Rest all don't have optical disk drives. Also, the macbook pro(without retina display) doesn't offer ssd and i would really like to have a laptop with an ssd.
