Thanks for all your replies.
Just one question..
AMD FX 8350 or Intel Core i3 3220. Which is better for gaming?
If i can cut down on the graphics card in Cilus's config and get the HDD isn't that better?
And do i really need a 750W PSU with my configuration?

^^Get whichever is cheaper between them.

And my suggestion to OP: Go with either i5 3470 or AMD FX-8350. For high end gaming, a Quad core Processor is highly recommended.

@ OP, if you want to overclock in your budget then you have to get the FX-8350 based rig. Either ways (AMD /Intel) in your specified budget you wont go wrong.

Thanks guys for your suggestions.. i think i have over shot my budget by about 10K but i think its worth it :)
So the final config which i have prepared is :

AMD FX - 8350 Rs.12500k
Asus M5A97 AM3+ AMD970 Motherboard Rs.6696
Sapphire AMD/ATI HD7850 HDMI OC Edition 2GB DDR5 Rs.16000 (The rate for HD7870 is 18k online, but if if i get that cheaper ill take that i guess)
WD Back 2 TB Rs.10000
4 gb Gskill RipjawsX DDR3-1600 * 2 Rs.3300
Crosair CMPSU 650TX 650 Watts PSU Rs.6300
Cooler Master HAF 912 Combat Transparent Side Panel Mid Tower Cabinet Rs.5100

I have picked up all these rates from Flipkart.. Does anyone know any store in pune which would be cheaper or should i get it online itself ?

You should go for the following in your given budget....aim at the 7950 if possible or atleast get a 7870 ...the prices you mentioned are not the rates you should buy them at-

Amd fx 8350 - Rs 11400 (Vedant Computers)
Asus M5A97 - Rs 5700 (Vedant Computers)
Sapphire 7850/7870/7950 - Rs 13600/16700/20500 (M.D.Computers/M.D.Computers/Vedant Computers)
WD 1tb black- Rs 6000 (Vedant Computers)
OCZ agility 3 128gb - Rs 6800 (M.D.Computers)
2*4gb ripjaw - Rs 3100 (Vedant Computers)
Corsair 650tx - Rs 5300 (M.D.Computers)
Cooler master HAF 912 combat transparent side panel - Rs 4600 (M.D.Computers)

total - 7850/7870/7950 - Rs 56500/59600/63400 (excluding 4% vat)

i have mentioned the sources beside....i personally got these quotations on my last visit to these places and was amazed to see the difference in the website prices (M.D.Computers).......

the ssd makes a huge improvement the system runs on "steroids".......a 1tb black is good for now...if you wish to get caviar green/toshiba then you'd get 2tb for Rs5900.....the 7850 i doubt would run crysis 3...so get the 7950 or atleast a 7870...........also since you'll be only gaming i would suggest the intel rig suggested by incinerator its highly balanced just add an ssd....for the case yes looks matter but corsair 400r and 500r are really neat and cooling is good...

ALWAYS REMEMBER IF YOU DON'T KNOW HOW TO OVERCLOCK THEN SIMPLY DON'T TRY SOMETIMES IF THINGS GO WRONG AND IT DAMAGES ANY COMPONENT THEN REST ASSURE YOU WON'T GET ANY WARRANTY....SO KEEP THAT IN MIND

Thanks for the suggestions..
1. How much will the crosair 400r or 500r be and from where?
2. why not an AMD rig..?? is the Core i5 3470 much better than FX 8350 ? Gaming is the main purpose, yes, besides from day to day use.
3. And is there a massive difference between a WD black and green in terms of actual day to day usage?

IMO 400r is very good enough...

i5 will be much better for gaming

Yes (difference as greens tend to fail much more than blacks) but if you get a ssd then you can get green as you would store OS on ssd and use HDD for data dumping...

here is my suggesation....

Go for the rig suggested by The Incinerator as it will game much better. Just get a WD black 1TB instead of Toshiba. And if you still have some money remaining, then get a ssd for around 6-7K[ can be safely avoided if you get a WD black]

400r-Rs 4500
500r- Rs 6000

i did suggest you an amd rig if you watch closely

since gaming is the main purpose then the i5 is better

blacks are fast and you get extra warranty
