XP Shut-Down my PC

I got AMD based machine and XP SP1 installed in it.The problem is that after 30 min. or more i got an error message that 'Their is a critical problem in your pc and it is going to shutdown within 1 min.!' And d countdown begins results my pc gets off :roll: I run AVG Scan but no virus found!AnyOne plz help me how 2 solve this problem...THX 4 UR REPLIES

hi,

If tht error msg says sth abt .. RPC problem then U can easily stop the shutdown ... type "services.msc" at RUN ..... & in the big list opened search for the option RPC ... & then double-click on it .... go to the recovery tab ... & here U will find three error options .. there U select "take no action" ... in all the three options ..

This will stop ur system restarts .... & then download the blasterworm removal tool from norton's site or just google for it!
