My fav video player is.. Media player 11
+1 to VLC player (Windows)
and Totem in Linux
VLC rocks .....
WMP11 at home, VLC Player outside
Windows Media Player Classic... which comes with the K-Lite Mega Codec Pack...
And yes... occassionally, whenever the Classic fails to read any file... VLC Player comes to the rescue.
Videos- MPEG/AVi etc - WMP11,Media Player Classic
DVD player -Intervideo WinDVD,PowerDVD
Yeah I like Media Player Classic.
Klite Codec Pack also got a BSPlayer which has an amazing feature of playing the video in the desktop background, and that too without using much system resources
I prefer to use Winamp even for videos. VLC is good but the interface sucks.
Winamp allows you to forward/rewind just by pressing the right/left arrow keys and increase/decrease the volume by pressing the up/down arrow keys. This feature is really important to me and only Winamp offers it. I use VLC only for filetypes that Winamp dosen't support.
powerdvd. amazing audio and video quality. poor controls.
now a days Gom Player is my fav one.
wmplayer or quicktime or realplayer, all 3 are good.
Mine is Windows Media Player 11 which is bundled with Windows Vista RTM.The vdo quality jst rocks.
