Right off the assembly line
Hello everybody
I have been running Windows XP for quite sometime now, and have an updated system, with the latest version of (legal) Norton AV, which I installed recently.

Since I installed this AV software, I have been having problems while shutting down. It says "ending program- CCApp.exe"

Whats that and how do I remove that?

Also, it takes a long time to shut down the system, while the screen stays blank..

Help me please.

if a prog doesn't close at shut down, windows forces it to close . itz normal.
i blive dat ur system is deleting the page file before shut down.
install tweak xp pro 4 trial and uncheck this option or google for a registry tweak

see if this helps :

Open the Registry Editor.
Expand the following key:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER \ Control Panel \ Desktop.
In the details pane, double click the WaitToKillAppTimeout. The default value is i think 20000 milliseconds or 20 seconds.
Set the value lower than the default. The minimum value is 1 millisecond. set it to 1000.
Close the Registry Editor.
Restart XP.

else download and use tune-up utilities or such program to tweak ur pc to ur tastes...
