WinXP Pro SP! - Compatibility issue

Am using WinXP Pro SP1 on Intel P4 2.80 Mhz HT with 512 Mb ram, 80 GB SATA HDD and RADEON9200 Display Card.

A few days back purchased, for my grandson, Worms Battle Pack consisting of WORMS 2, WORMS ARMAGEDDON and WORMS WORLD PARTY aith playable demo of WORMS BLAST.

All the games except WORMS ARMAGEDDON are working fine.
On starting Worms Armageddon I get the first three screens but after choosing teams and clicking on "Start" the screen becomes dark and nothing happens. However Task Manager shows "Running".

I took this CD to my friends place who has dual booting with Win98 & XP. On WinXP same problem but it worked fine in Win98.

I have tried ALL the Compatibility options but in vain.

Any which way I can run this on my XP ?

Thanks for the site.
One doenload did not work.
Now trying again to download patch with DAP bu now "User name & Password' required. Maybe only one time is allowed per day.
Shall try again in a day or two and post the results.

WINXP PRO - Compatibility issue

Hi Nemesis.
Downloaded WA Uodate-3 1.05.Beta2 to my F:\Download from the site mentioned by you. Clicked on it. It opened a window saying it had found the directory and whether I should say yes or no. On checking yes every thing was over. It seems an entry was made in the registry.
Opened the WA Folder, clicked on the WA icon and lthe game worked.
It works fine.
Thanks a lot oncemore from myself and my young grandson who is now happy.
