WinXP Pro - Deletion of files etc.

Am using WinXp Pro SP1
Help me to delete the following registry entry :
HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersio\Shell Extentions\Approved\(DDFFA75A-E81D-4454-89FC-B9FD0631E726)
No matter how many times I delete it, it comes upagain and again.

Also file "msg118.dll'and 'msguard.dll'
Cannot be deleted - being used

Help me locate :
Source: F:\System Volume Information\_restore{A247DC0C-4E00-4B68-954E-A1AAEC6B24A4}\RP48\A0020132.exe

I canot find any such "System Volume Information" in my F: drive.

I guess you have one OS ie WinXP sp1
Try to install sp2,if you are lucky you could install WinXP sp2 on your system.

See is you could remove registry entries and deleted the files
"msg118.dll' and 'msguard.dll'

If this doesnot help, the take your HardDisk to your fren place, set is slave and boot the PC with your friends HardDisk

Locate those files; delete it

me too faces same prob whats that system restore thing tho i dunno but it shows up on a Win 98 machine. So if u got a Win98 machine from ur friends and u got xp installed on a FAT32 partition the u could find that folder and empty its contents. I have disabled system restore but still there is that folder i can see sometimes. pls tell me whats that folder function.

I guess the system volume info folder holds the index files for the partition. Its a hidden folder. If you delete it, windows will recreate it...
