windows xp media center edition

problem 1

i just installed xp m.c.e on my computer . windows is working fine . but when ever i try to start media center app in it my computer screen becomes black . so i am not able to start that

i tried reinstalling it but it did not work .

problem 2

i can not open task manager in windows .

it saya u dont have permission . but i am administrator

please help

1.) About MCE, I'm not sure! May be Direct-x problem?

2.) For Task Manager:

In registry goto:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System

In right-side pane, search for the key:

DisableTaskMgr

either delete it or change its value to 0
