    Well with my Experience...

    I hav PIII 64 SD RAM , 1 Ghz PC and am/was using Win ME till last month..

    It was the best OS until i got NET Connection..

    Well ME crashes when we try to surf .. i have even experienced this in fresh install...

    So what i will suggest is ..either Upgrade to XP if ur RAM and CPU permits...else..roll back to 98..which am currently using...

    Regards,
    DIpen

    @yahfate
    welcome to the forums buddy....

    So what is your H/W configuration???
    because as dipen suggested,if possible, it will be better to upgrade to either XP or downgrade to 98
    (both OS's are faaaaar better than ME !! )

    as far as current problem goes try these...
    >> restart in safe modew
    >> run > msconfig > remove startup files
    >> clean out temp internet files
    >> restart the compter and see if everything is working...

    nd comment bak !!!
