Win-98 Serious Problem

hi there,

now a days i am facing strange problem. i start my win-98 se it starts but goes to safe mode . if i will restart the same and if i try to start in normal mode it gets rebooted. please tel me what is wrong ? need u'r help urgently

Hi,

Which point does it get rebooted? It could be due to a virus/spyware ... Check your pc with an antivirus and Spybot Search & Destroy
You could also have a driver problem ... reinstall all your drivers in safe mode.

i think the problem is it reboots just when ur booting into it normally
is that right dikudik ?

it seems 1 of ur key files for booting r missing/corrupt.....boot in safe mode .....Start -> run -> sfc .........check n replace the currupt win files.......
