Wianmp 5.2 PRO PRoblem

I am using the latest version on Winamp pro 5.2
I have a problem. Whenver i start winamp the program strats , however its dosent come in the taskbar . If i minimize it once then it comes on the taskbar.I have checked the option to show winamp in taskbar in the general prefrences.This however dosent happen with the "show winamp in system tray " option.
Please Help

two things:-
make sure to click 'always on top' and second
try pressing 'Alt+w' when you click on the task bar to show winamp.

Even if it persists then try reinstalling it.

tried everything . nothing works. i thinks its my windows thats a problem ..

Try reinstalling it.. Also remove the winamp entries in the registry before reinstalling.

Simplest solution is to uninstall,delete all preferences and the Winamp Program files folder abd reinstall.
