Press [F2], [F3], [F4] to get a list of parametres and use them along with
    linux <parametre>
    to try text mode
    linux text
post if any error message occured in the output
If you get something such as
    Code:
     [C009786] sumthin like that..
    kernel_thread_helper
type any garbage string at prompt and then press [enter] shud work. If it doesn't file a bugreport at
    bugzilla.redhat.com
along with ALL the error message or any kernel panic you get. You may have to register at bugzilla.
    Good Luck!!

Which version of redhat are you using? Older versions of redhat/fedora do not support SATA drives.
