    for ease of use, try frontpage,

    for free, just google to find the rite one

    dont forget to combine it with flash

    You can try out MS Frontpage, Macromedia Dreamweaver, etc. and see which suits you the most....

    Go for Dreamweaver 8. You won't be disappointed.
    By the way, Yashved, Adobe has acquired Macromedia.
    So it's Adobe Dreamweaver 8!!

    for freeware use nvu as a html editor and use gimp for graphics editing.

    If you are looking for a freeware solution, use nvu

    BTW, i think there are quite a few threads with the same topic in the past few days.

    Dreamweaver is the best, imho!
    By the way, just heard that even Google is about to launch a website editing tool, though I'm not sure of it.

    nothing in the world like fresh smell of handcoded css // on dreamweaver/something else/writepad2/i like it on both ... and then mix it with photoshopped/illu gfx, fit it... gives you a delicious page :D
