At Present I Am Using Beetel 220bx That Is Rented To Me By Airtel . So I Was Thinking It Wolud Be Foolish To Pay Them Rent For Years Which Is Rs 99 Per Month . So Buying Will Be Much BETTER As I Am Going To Use Broadband For Many Years ( From Any Isp )

I Would Like To Know Good Modem For The Same

Guys Pls Give Full Details From Brand To Model No

And Their Qualitys For Which They Are Best

Give Answers Asap

Why don't you buy it from the Airtel themselves? Its only optional to pay the rent.

Weird. Anyway the most sought after router in the market for ADSL 2+ is probably the D-Link's GLB-502T. Seen a lot of people, including here, using that.

It costs something around Rs. 1400 I suppose.

I prefer router rented to me by MTNL as if anything goes wrong it's their responsibility and I can get replacement within hours.They have reduced the rent from Rs.80 to Rs.50 now.
