Which linux to install

I have an intel 915 GAG motherboard. i installed Mandrake Linux on my system but it was unable to detect my display device. which Linux Should i INstall.

try PCQ 2005 its got a good driver base else try knoppix first and see the xconf file as to what it does.

Struggled with Mandrake for over half a day but got my graphics related issues sorted. Check the intel website. They usually have the latest drivers for linux to work with.

i downloaded this at college but its still buggy and did crash a couple of times. So i would say wait for another month or so (test 4...)

Try a live cd first to get the hang of linux.Then install I suggest mandrake 10.1 for newbies

Try Live CDs... (mostly Debian-derivatives)

Then move on to one that is good for your Ratings

the page you point to see the most popular linux distro shows the hits per day on a certain page. Another way to see it is that these hits show "troubled people seeking answers " thus they are repeatedly comming back to these sites to check out soulutions. I would not take it as a measure of popularity at face value. Any way its a personal thought i had i wonder if you agree to it or not
