Which is the best MP3 encoder???

Hello Friends!

Which do you think is the best MP3 encoder. I have used Blade and Lame. Is there any encoder better than these and if not, which among these is the best? Please also tell me how to add these codecs with Media Player 9 so that I can directly rip music in MP3 format from Media Player.

MP3 PRO is the best i have come across, though it isnt free...

i think lame is the best but even fraunhofer is good (dey used fraunhofer in gta3)

switch to mp4 if possible

MP4/AAC is way better.Currently Nero's MP4 implementation is the best.

Well, I need MP3 so that I can play those files in my car audio system which supports MP3 and not MP4...
