Where is my Start >> All Programs ..

    Hi,
    I cann't view my programs list, i.e. Start>> Programs
    this shows empty. Why & What is this happened? Help me

    May be u deleted those files from the Programs folder?
    Or may be their attributes hv been set to HIDDEN?

    Right-click on the Start button and select Open and Open All Users one by one and check whether ur programs shortcuts exist or not!

    i faced a similar problem.. but i was able to find them again after restarting...

    Maybe its the work of a virus. Have U scanned? If everything fails, then REINSTALL. HA HA HA HA!

    If u r having XP,restore u r comp 2 the point till this problem did not occur & VOILA!!!u r comp is back 2 normal.

    i hope u have hidden C:\documents and settings folder.... goto its properties and remove hidden option.... or else try to restore it to the earlier time .. which u can find in help and support

    no man hiding the program folder doesn't affect the start menu .

    yup u r write...
    it was by mistake...
    what i want to say actually is hiding the "Documents and Settings" folder
    if u hide this folder... it shows empty in start>all programs

    thanx Zeeshan 4 making me correct....
