well here at Kolkata DDR 256 @400 MHz was some thing about Rs. 1420 + TAX a 2 days ago...

The prices of mem is too high nd is rising again. Once it was too low nd even a 512 was around 1900. But now even a 256 would cost u at least 1400/-.
