I was planning to buy a Graphics Card 4 my computer. Many of the cards featured a TV out feature. Does this mena that I can use my television as my monitor instead of using a conventional monitor?
plz help

Yes, though display clarity will not be as good as with a monitor. Not very useful for reading small text, but can provide large-screen gaming experience if you don't have a big monitor.

Many cards have only S-video out which cannot be directly connected to the composite video input of many TVs. The two XFX cards I received from my supplier last week have only S-video out but came with an adaptor cable for connecting with composite video-in.

a lot of TVs dont have s-video in which means u cannot use the s-video out of ur graphics card directly...most of them also provide digital outputs but u need HDTV 4 that...but i wouldnt recommend using ur TV as quality sucks and will strain ur eyes...gaming is good as u need low res settings but again, eye-strain is a problem....
