Hi, VB is old technology. So better learn VB.NET. Yea the difference is not much. I have only done VB and not VB.NET, but what I have heard is VB.NET is easier than VB. The difference between them is just like the difference between 98 and Xp i.e better libraries, user interfaces, boxes etc.

So in mah opinion u shud do VB.NET !

i have learned both VB and VB.NET... the main difference between them is that VB is a general programming language where as VB.NET is an Object Oriented Language... i think its better 2 learn VB.NET nw bcoz both look similar in syntax n environment.,,, so if u learn VB.NET u can easily learn VB on ur own....

I think the difference is similar to the difference between C and C++ .
