what are scarp files ? kindly help.....plz

in my p-4 computer i have installed MS-office 2000 ,now a days when ever i create some text file or power point files after some days they are converted to .shs (scarp files ) ,i have the latest antivirus installed on PC and i tried to reinstall office but the problem doesn't solve .....


what would be the cause .........????????????

I dont think that ur powerpoint or text files are being converted into scrap files. Though I am not sure.

Scrap files are created when u paste the contents of the clipboard in Windows Explorer. It is saved with an extension .shs

(Try this by copying some content from your word document and pasting them directly in desktop).
