I want to buy a new Intel@#$#@ I mean amd computer. What proccessor should i use. I want 1 GB ram and good Bus speed. I want all games to run smoothly with high graphics. Games like FEAR , DOOM 3 , uNREAL TOURNAMENT 2007(yet to come out) , Geats of war etc.
Multimedia and programming are very important and I want to learn networking through linux so tell me about LAN cards. 3dStudio , Maya , VB.net are also needed to run.

I already own a PC. I have a DVD writer , 80 GB and a 20 GB hard disk which I will transfer to the new one. I want to choose the graphics card myself. Sound - well a descent sound should do . Please suggest a 17 or 19 inch monitor.
My budget is Rs 25000(with out optical drive and graphics card). If I need to increase it please inform. :roll:

ya go fr an AMD . AMD ROCKS. AMD 64 3200+, 3500+ OR 3800+ . if u hv really big budget go fr dual core frm AMD i.e. 4800+. intels hv heatin issues , not value fr money , and i hope world goes amd.

Ok...Ok... AMD it is . So What should be the configuration . Please help I have absolutely no idea about AMD proccesor or motherboards and I forgot to mention the motherboard should have PCI-e.

u can even overclock ur 3000+ on rock solid A8NE motherboard.
for games get a 6600 GT card, search and get Gainward, they are cheap and perform great.

Dude get a AMD 3000+ Venice , Asus A8N-E and twinmos ram if want Overclocking dont settle for cheap hynix rams and twinmos costs only 2450 for a 512 MB Stick AFAIK. So 7000+6500+4900=15400, so look out for some nice cabinet and SMPS and as for gfx card go atleast for a 6600GT 128MB pci-ex. You overclock this one like mad. I overclocked my 3000+ to 2.475Ghz from 1.8Ghz.

For 17" you can get Viewsonic E70f you can get it for 6700, and for 19" get a Magic Bright models from samsung not sure of their price.

You can get yourself a Altec Lansing ATP3 for Rs.2900/-, or Creative Inspire 2.1 ---1900, inspire 4.1---2875 and a 5.1 is 4375 these are all chennai rates. Lan card is available in your motherboard itself.
