Well... I have just cranked my Volume in my Speaker and i could hear faint cracklin sounds

But the strange thing is, it crackles as i do stuffs on my PC.

he he he... like when i "Scroll the mouse"... or click something on windows, it gives a faint crackle...

you can say, a lil crackle everytime i do something... or else silenceeee

Is that normal ? the Card in question is "Creative Live series"

bye... hope the Q makes some sense !!!

    lol... Mike here.

I had the same problem with my onboard sound, and I did find a solution. I hope the same works for you.

Right-click on the volume icon in your system tray, choose Open volume control. Or goto Control Panel > Sounds and Audio Devices. Click on the Advanced button in the Device Volume section.
Check for a control named "Input Monitor." If you don't find it see if it's there in the File > Advanced controls section.
Set the Input Monitor to Mute (check it) and hopefully your problem should be gone.

If it isn't there or if it's already on mute, someone else has to help you.
