Wanted Desktop Shortcut for Monitor Off

Is it possible to have a desktop shortcut for " turn off moniter" option in power manegment. I simply want to put moniter in standby position according to my wish. That will be to save ups backup time.

If u want to open the "Power management" settings directly from desktop, then just create a shortcut for following:

powercfg.cpl

If u want to make a shortcut to on/off monitor, then following software will do the job:

*www.grc.com/wizmo/wizmo.htm
