Wanna music solution for my ears

I want a decent solution for my ears.
My budget is really low (<3k).
My options are DiscMan, Ipod Shuffle (1GB), MP4 Player.
I dunno about their prices.
Pl guide me abt the company prices & the grey market prices considering their adv & dis-advantages.
Really short of time.

yes mp3 players range from 3k ... last i chked .... they got all features:

mp3/wma playback
fm
fm recording
voice recording
line in
rechargeable li-ion battery
also MMC slot (which means extendable memory)
and can b used as pen drive

i am quite happy with the 1 i hv .... even though i own an ipod this yes player is still very handy coz of most of its features
