Now,
I want to ask that
my c:/ is of 14.01 gbs
but now due to lack of space i want to remove at least 5 gbs from my c:/ which r free
so can i remove it from c:/ and add it to some other drives without formatting c:/ and reinstalling W*NDOW$????


Please Help me Ia A Newbie in this thing!

You can use Ranish Partition Manager software.Get it from here:
*www.ranish.com/part/
Always backup your drive before resizing partitions!! Sometimes it may lead to data
loss also. Read the 'Readme.txt' file first (*www.ranish.com/part/readme.txt)
before doing anything.

U can use Partition Magic, it'll do the job perfectly!
Run the program and it'll show ur existing 3 partitions in the list.

1.) Right-click on C: Drive and select Resize/move option and decrease it size according to ur requirements!
2.) Now right-click on the other partition, to which u want to allocate the free area and select again Resize/move option and increase its size!

Finally click on Apply button! :)

Hey the image says u have free space of > 9GB on c: ....Why uwanna free up space??
Neways u can remove heavy duty softwares like visual studio 2003 if have that etc!!!
