virus password

my father has put user password in BIOS.my BIOS is of american megatrendz.i have remove the CMOS battery but still it is asking for the password.how do i remove the password.plz help

try..

Using a manufacturers backdoor password to access the BIOS

Use password cracking software

Reset the CMOS using the jumpers or solder beads.

Removing the CMOS battery for at least 10 minutes

Overloading the keyboard buffer

Using a professional service.

remove your bios battery for more than 10 minutes.
(or)
see your mother board manuals for bios clear jumper. when you enable that jumper, bios will be clear and will return to default factory setting.
(or)
also try : during booting process, keep press "pageup key" immeditely after you power on the system.

and lastly communicate with your father coolly. communication can solve most of our problem.

try removing it for 20 minutes and also reset any jumpers if any chk the motherboard manual to check for the jumpers
