I have seen many computer infected by this virus
virus symtoms-
1)folder options disappers
2)regedit & mmc & gpedit all are disabled.
3)computer restarts again and again.
even anti virus is disabled...

even when computer is formatted c drive the virus remains...

whats is the solution ..its problem all around here.....
we have tried every possible AV but once infected by virus it seems un curable but i have found that if AV is updated the virus is unable to get in.

any solution to get rid of it.

Hi saharika....the computer is curable u dont have to format c drive!! Well boot viruses are extreme cases.
One simpe solution is just to connect the infected PC to another that has updated antivirus like kaspersky and then share the C drive of infected PC!! Run the antivirus on the shared C drive then.
Well the other solution is to install a linux distro on another drive and incase of infection back all the documents on linux drive. This i have done numerous times!

Neways if ur on windows...nothing is predicted as to when ur PC can show BSOD or virus infection. But u can always use system restore service!

Have you tried booting in safe mode and running Antivirus, Antispyware scans with latest updated definition files?

If your PC is infected with a boot-sector virus. Use Seagate's DiskWizard Starter
Edition , that can perform a low-level format and destroy the virus & MBR!!
Try it and see it for yourself.
