Vga to hdmi

My old laptop does not have HDMI. I want a reliable VGA to HDMI converter. Which is the best one? How much does it cost? How to buy ?

How to buy ?

Go to a local PC hardware shop. Ask for whay you want(the vga to HDMI convertor) ask the price. If you have the money, pay for it and get the convertor.
Should cost less than Rs.1000/-

vga is analogue & hdmi is digital & any decent electronics person will tell you the same thing.converting analogue to digital with quality is really complicated & definitely not possible for a mere Rs.1000(less than $25 when a decent quality box like this sells for $150/rs.8000: Atlona AT-HDVieW VGA to HDMI Converter with 1080p Scaling - AT-HDVieW, $149.99) such a cheap converter may or may not even work but even if it works the quality will be worse than vga output.my suggestion is use vga port to connect laptop to tv/monitor(almost all old models & even many newer ones have vga port).

or you can buy USB to HDMI adapter. something like this USB 2.0 to DVI VGA HDMI Multi Display Adapter Converter | eBay . I know its over your budget, but I gave this one for your reference.
