I think he is saying that he has got some Game CDs which u put in VCD Players and play with VCD player/TV remote.Just a guess

Maybe there has been a technological breakthrough that I'm not aware of

i think he is talking bout the VCD Players that cames with Video Game facility with it, i have seen one manufactured by T-Series.
but the glitch is its not that effective....bachho ke liye thik hai
