Using Wifi to transfer files

I have a HP dv6000 series laptop and a Nokia N91...both have wifi capabilities...I want to use wifi to tranfer files between my laptop and my mobile. Can anyone please tell me the detailed procedure to do the same?

I think the router does this job...
Build a wireless network using ur wireless router then it must be possible!!
