Use same phone line to connect internet same time on 2 PCs

I have two PCs and one phone line for internet access. Both of them have
modems; but are not connected via LAN,etc. I want to connect both the PCs
to the Internet at the same time through my dial up connection i.e. I want
to connect my second PC to the net when the first one is already connected
to the net, or visa versa, without the other being disconnected. Urgent.

only one way buy 2 NIC and connect two pc with cross crimb

Well we worked out our problem in hostel like this ..dunno if this can help this but listen to it .....

My frd bought two LAN cards & he got direct connection from the connection available to us in our rooms ...& shared tht one & the other computer was connected with it through a cross cable ... it is still working ...... & yes!! it works very fine it's a very simple well known client server technique ....

Dunno if it works with 2 MODEM's on one & 1 on the other one using cross connection ..... but i put it all forward to ya wat all i could do... wait for a few replies might someone justifiy my reply more .... but really if U can afford one more MODEM try it ....or either get one MODEM from ne of ur frd OK!!

All u need is.................. a LAN(min 500/-) Not smthing tht will soothe my pockets just 4 net!
