USB Tv Tuner not working on HP DV2701TX

[FONT='Times New Roman','serif']guys when ever i connect a usb tv tuner ith my new lappy (HP DV2701TX) i not ble to watch tv.on executing the PVR app the web cam starts by default.even if i set the tuner a the defult capture device i cant tune the channels.the same tuner is working with the same pvr in lappies which dont come with a web cam (Compaq C713TU).[/FONT]

Check the card in any other friend/colleague's computer.
Also try upgrading the drivers.

the tuner has already been tried in other lappies (without webcam) & pcs and it worked fine there.its only causing probs in lappies which come with webcam.
all drivers r the latest version.
