USB and LAN nt working on XP

Broken In
I have got an old computer 233 Mhz Processor 128Mb Ram
My problem is that my computer stops detecting USB devices (hangs on putting 1) and even my LAN card is not shown in the lists of hardwares attached with XP installed in it.. But it just works fine (LAN + USB) when I installed WinME.. Plz help.

Perhaps coz ur sys config doesnt match the min sys req. of XP
