Urgent!!!

I need to buy a laptop as soon as possible. i have decided on two options..
HP DV6 3127TX--i3, 3GB ddr3, 320 GB(7200rpm),ATi 5650(1GB).
Dell Inspiron 15 R --i5, 4gb ddr3(1333), 500Gb(5400rpm), ATI 550v(1GB).

The Hp dv6 cost around 41500/-
the dell inspiron cost around 42000/-
My main purpose would be programming and little bit gaming also. I am confused between them. Please consider the brand value also,as many people say dell laptops aren't good and HP is much better is it true?

Also Hp offers much better graphics card then dell but then dell has i5. also HP offers faster hard disk. capacity is not the priority.
please help!!!

alternatives are accepted but preference is for above two.

also look for hp G62 .i think dell 15r will cost more in retail.could you give its retail price

if you only do casual gaming, go with Dell 15R. if you can wait a bit, then go with Sandy Bridge based laptops. (should come by this month end)

@lipun the retail price of dell 15r is much higher but if i will be then i will purchase it from online store..
@dessibond my first priority would be programming and devlopement, movies and then gaming.i know hp dv6 has faster hdd and and little better gxf card though i will get the ram upgraded to 4gb, the only difference left is i5 and i3..
also there is no news about the laptop with sandy bridge, i mean, when will they arrive? also what do your think about the price of sandy bridge?

HDD is something that you can change anytime you need but you can't change the processor. That core i5 is much faster, means that on the long run, it works much better. Also, see if you can get one with R+GBLED display T

it is not customisable on site..also what do u think about dell one the whole..and do you think it is possible ti change the hdd suppose i want them to change it from 5400rpm to 7200 one..and also see gfx card..
