Urgent: Haveto Buy mp3 pLAYER Tommorrow

Hi!! I have to buy a MP3 player tomorrow. Can you guys plz suggest me excellent acoustic quality Player within the budget of 3k. I have to pair it with Creative EP630. Pure sound is my requirement. No FM, Video et al is needed (A video player obviously'll not come in this budget). I can increase my budget to 5k but only if something extraordinary but still I'll like to spend less.

sandisk sansa clip is indeed a good option , u can also go for apple ipod shuffle....both of them will come under the 3k banner...

Is the sound quality of Sandisk Pristine as it is utmost importance.shuffle doesn't have a screen which makes navigation difficult. So will not go for shuffle for sure.

Then I guess I am left with a single option of Sandisk. Also is Creative Zen 4 GB worth the extra amount? (In terms of Sound Quality only). I can do with less storage.

In your budget, do not go for a video player. It won't be good. Also stay away from Philips Go Gear MP3 players, they sound pathetic.

It seems that Sandisk Sansa Clip is the unanimous winner here..I'll go for it..Is it commonly available is ezone,jumbo stores etc..And just in case if it is not available in stores then what is the next best

I enquired about Sandisk Sansa in Noida. Jumbo, etc didn't have the stock. Staples do have it but they were quoting a price of 2600 bucks which is a bit steep as I have found that it is around 2k according to some sources. Can you tell me the price of 2 GB version of Sansa.

If u want to buy from ebay then i can get u the 2gb player for around 200Rs cheaper than the listed price from ebay itself.

Thanks Utsav. But I am not much in online shopping. I prefer to go to the store and enjoy the shopping experience and haggling with the shopkeepers and searching for better deals offline. I guess this experience is way better than ordering on a portal and then waiting for the product to be delivered having sleepless nights.

lolz. As your wish. But buying from ebay is very safe these days and i have bought several things from ebay and never got any fake or non functional item. If u get it for 2.1k locally then go for it else paying 2.6k is insane.
