HDD: Seagate 320 GB SATA
Ram: 1 GB Transcend
Graphics Card: Nvidia 7300
DVD-W: Liteon
Cabinet: Zebronics Antibiotic ( 3*80mm fans + 1*120mm fan) with 450 Watts
Monitor: Samsung 17" CRT
TV Tuner: Pinnacle 110i
LAN Cards: 2
Mouse+ Keyborad


Future possible upgrades: 9 Series Graphics Card
22" Widescreen LCD
Extra 1 GB RAM
Connect 5.1 Speakers (Not confirmed)


How much VA required for my config for atleast 15 min backup ?

APC 1.1kVA will cost bout 7.5k.better get a Powercom 1kVA ups for 5.8k.gives bout 20 mins of backup with my rig and also has option of adding xternal battery.using it 4 the past 5 months.not a single prob till now.

I think...its better to go for Inverter which cost me arnd 12k..whts ur suggestion ?

I Always Prefer 1080p
1 VA (UPS) = 0.6 Watts (SMPS)
Use the PSU Calculator to decide what PSU you want.
Depending on that buy UPS.

U mean to say... 12K +...extra 6k ???

yup thats true.
cheap inverters do not provide a stable pwr output reqd for running pcs.so to run pcs u need to get a good quality pure sine wave inverter whihc costa anything between 9-15k depending on VA.next u need to purchase battery whihc depends on how much backup u want.the more backup u want the more u hafta spend on battery.
