I am having a compaq presario SR1235IL . It is with P4 2.8ghz AND having 256 MB of ram and 40GB HDD. I want to upgrade it and my budget is 13,000 .
please tell me the latest configuration for running games like far cry.
I also want to buy a ganing laptop and my budget is 50,000 to 60,000.

you cna refer to this months digit for laptops, and for your upgrade, i suggest the following:
c2d e6300
intel 965 mobo
this will cost you a little extra, but the performance is unimaginable...

I Don't suggest you change your Processor(Its Good Enough) and Motherboard,
Upgrade the RAM, HDD and Add a Grafix Card.

160GB HDD

Those Three will Fit into your Budget, and Will enable you to play Some Latest games with Low Settings
