Upgrade Suggestions....

Right off the assembly line
Configuration of my pc :

ASUS P5KPL-CM , INTEL G31 CHIPSET
intel e5200 dual core 2.5 ghz
1 gb ram
250 gb HDD
running windows 7 ultimate and ubuntu 11.04

i bought this when i was a newbie.is this config worth upgrading or should i go in for a new one?please suggest a good economical graphics card around 5000 also among other upgrades.

help please!

Right off the assembly line
it is outdated but still it worked well for basic gaming and system never slowed down even with on board graphics,should i fit in a graphics card in there and continue with it ?

If u wanna stick to ur existing pc.
u can buy a 2gb ddr2 ram module,as ur motherboard supports only ddr2 memory type.n for graphics card at ur budget u can get Sapphire HD 5670 at 4300 rs which is compatible with ur MB.if u can extend ur budget u can get 5770 at 7800 rs

Also get a good company PSU if you don't have one. Go for aroud 450W rating PSU from companies like FSP, Antec, or Tagan.

sell ur pc and get something out of it.else 1-2 yrs down u will have to throw into scrap.whats ur budget BTW?

hmmm....
add 1 gb ram
and go for HD 6670 @ 5.5k or HD 5670 4.5k

and save money to buy a new system after a year or so

HD 6670 does not have any real competitor on that price range. But the closest one is GTS 450. GTS 450 performs slightly better than HD 6670 but HD 6670 is far cheaper than it.
