Uninstalling media player

I installed the J River Media Center from the Digit CD on my Windows 98 OS.

Now I'm unable to uninstall it; either from the unistaller within the program or from the W98 control panel add/remove programs.

How can it be uninstalled?

the uninstaller file must be missing or corrupted,try reinstalling and uninstall.

Yes that's what I tried but it doesn't work.

J River also has the annoying habit of overriding Windows Media Player each time I put in a music or video CD.

Guess I'll wait till the 40 day trial period ends and then manually delete the program group?
