Unable to upload anything!!

    I am using Windows XP SP2 with dial up connection.
    whenever I try to upload any file [file size>30 to 40 KB] ,to any site,the PC hangs. What could be the reason?
    Its not because of any particular browser. I have tried with different browsers.

    what happens ?? total PC goes unresponsive ?? or rather CTRL+ALTR+DEL works to bring up the task manager and which can shutdown the unresponsive program... pls be clier on that....

    make sure there is no FireWall (including windows XP) on.. and U have a good upto date AVS, such as KAV/NAV installed and check the system for virus ..

    the pc hangs[totally unresponsive]...not even CTRL + ALT + DEL works .I have tried disabling the firewall and still it happens. Its not a virus .I wonder is it due to my dial up connection?
    Anyone with dial up experiencing similar problem?
