Transparent Icon Text

Guys this is my first post:

How do I make my desktop icon text transparent i.e no text background only the icon name like "My Computer".



I have a small tweak for absolutely no text:
click on any icon
Now back click>Rename
Press Alt+0160

Note:The numbers should be pressed from the numpad keys.

press windows key+pause break to go to system properties. Then go to advanced>performance>settings and u see many chech boxes checked or unchecked according to ur desktop settings. Check the second option from downwords "use dropdown shadows for icon levels on the desktop". Apply. And don't forget to uncheck "lock web items on desktop" by right clicking on the desktop. This is for XP. And thanks for the no text tweak

u can also make the icon invisible after pressing alt+0160 go to properties, thn to customize n thn change icon. select a blank icon in the middle n u r done.
